6-1 Investment Analysis

The Investment Analysis (IA) stage of the Acquisition Management System (AMS) process consists of two sub-stages: Initial Investment Analysis and Final Investment Analysis. 

The Initial Investment Analysis begins with designating an FAA HF Coordinator (FAA HFC). For larger projects, as necessary the FAA HFC then establishes and chairs a Human Factors Working Group (HFWG)..
